The Men & Women's breakfast and devotional this morning was a delightful affair filled with scrumptious food, camaraderie, and a thought-provoking devotional. Our breakfast spread included bacon, eggs, waffles, tater tots, ham, fruit salad, and homemade coffee cake that was simply divine. During the men's session, the speaker shared insights on worship- what it means, how to worship, and we dove into the Scriptures to explore different verses about worship. Meanwhile, the women discussed the importance of resting in God and how God's idea of rest differs from our typical understanding. We learned that just as God rested on the seventh day after creating the world in six days, He desires the same for us, as outlined in the fourth chapter of Hebrews. Overall, it was a truly enriching and enjoyable morning for everyone who attended.
