If you were the only lost and broken person on earth, God still would have sent His Son on your behalf. Why? Because He loves you. Because you are His favorite. It is a miracle that only an all-knowing, all-powerful, all-loving God could pull off—we are all His favorites. We are all the focus of His amazing grace.
