Hope's Haven Summer Camp. For Children who are, or have been, in the foster care system.

Be the Light: Partner with Hope’s Haven to Share God’s Love with Foster Youth
Every child deserves to know they are loved — deeply, unconditionally, and eternally. At Hope’s Haven, that’s exactly what children from the foster care system experience: the love of Jesus poured into their lives through the kindness, faith, and presence of caring adults.
This Christian summer camp was created just for them — children who have experienced pain, instability, and often feel forgotten.
At Hope’s Haven, they are reminded that God sees them, knows them by name, and has a purpose for their lives. Through worship, Bible study, Scripture memory, one-on-one mentoring, and joyful activities like swimming, hiking, crafts, and games, these children are given a chance to simply be kids — safe, valued, and loved.
This summer, volunteers from Twin Valley Alliance Church are once again answering the call to serve. With hearts full of compassion, they’ll minister to these precious children alongside the greater Hope’s Haven camp family. Many served last year and will return this year, continuing a mission that has deeply touched their lives.
Camp dates for 2025:
Throughout these weeks, Twin Valley Alliance Church will remain faithfully in prayer—interceding for the children, the volunteers, and the powerful work of the Holy Spirit at camp. We’re praying for healing. For breakthrough. For hope to be rekindled and identities to be restored in Christ.
Even if you’re not going to camp, you are still part of the mission. We invite our entire church family to join in prayer—covering every camper, volunteer, and moment in love and intercession. And if God stirs your heart to do more, we encourage you to give, volunteer, or spread the word about this life-changing ministry.
At Hope’s Haven, the safety of every child is a sacred priority. That’s why every staff member and volunteer undergoes State Police background checks and Child Abuse Clearances. In addition, each child is matched with a mentor at a 2-to-1 ratio, ensuring personal care, supervision, and emotional support throughout the camp experience.
Best of all, the entire week of camp is completely free for the children and agencies involved—made possible through the generous support of churches, individuals, and organizations who believe every child deserves to know they matter.
Hope’s Haven is a Christian nonprofit, not affiliated with any specific church or denomination, and is currently seeking volunteers for this summer. Will you join us in shining the light of Christ?
