Groups and Messaging
Groups and messaging are provided to encourage communication, fellowship, discipleship, ministry coordination, and connection within the church community.

Participation in an App group does not create an expectation that every message will remain permanently private.

Users should never use church messaging to share information they would not want disclosed if required for safety, ministry administration, legal compliance, or the protection of another person.

Group administrators and authorized church leaders may moderate discussions and may remove messages, content, or participants when necessary.

Users should respect the purpose of each group and avoid repeatedly posting material unrelated to that group's ministry or discussion.

Children and Youth Safety
Twin Valley Alliance Church takes the protection of children and youth seriously.

The App must never be used to exploit, groom, harass, sexually solicit, manipulate, or otherwise endanger a minor.
Users must follow all Twin Valley Alliance Church child and youth protection policies when communicating with minors through church digital services.

Church staff and ministry leaders should use appropriate ministry communication practices and approved communication channels when communicating with children or youth.

Parents and legal guardians are encouraged to remain aware of their child's use of church digital services.

Users under 13 may or may not independently create an account where prohibited by applicable platform requirements, terms, or law depending on what state you live in but should always have parents permission. Users between the ages of 13 and 17 should also have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required.

Any suspected abuse, exploitation, grooming, or immediate threat involving a child may be reported to appropriate church leadership and, where required or appropriate, law enforcement or child-protection authorities.

Prayer Requests and Sensitive Information
Prayer requests are an important part of the ministry of Twin Valley Alliance Church. However, users should exercise care when submitting information about themselves or other people.

Do not submit highly sensitive, confidential, medical, financial, or identifying information unless it is reasonably necessary.

When submitting a prayer request involving another person, please respect that person's privacy.

Depending on the prayer-request option selected and the ministry involved, prayer requests may be viewed by authorized church staff, ministry leaders, prayer team members, or others designated by the Church.

If someone is experiencing an emergency, the App or prayer-request system should not be used as a substitute for emergency services.

For an immediate emergency in the United States, call 911.

You are responsible for content you submit.
By submitting content through church digital services, you represent that you have the right to submit it and that doing so does not violate another person's rights.

Twin Valley Alliance Church reserves the right to moderate, restrict, hide, or remove content that violates this policy, applicable law, church policies, or applicable Subsplash requirements.

Submission of content does not guarantee that the Church will publish, retain, respond to, or distribute that content.

Serious threats, suspected abuse, exploitation of a minor, or other potentially criminal conduct may be reported to appropriate authorities when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect an individual.

Nothing in this policy prevents anyone from contacting law enforcement, emergency services, child-protection authorities, or another appropriate government agency.

Depending upon the circumstances, violations may result in:

  • A warning.
  • Removal of specific content.
  • Removal from an App group.
  • Restriction of messaging privileges.
  • Temporary suspension of access.

Administrative privileges are to be used only for legitimate ministry and church operational purposes.
Administrators must not misuse their access to obtain, disclose, alter, or distribute user information for personal purposes.

Administrative access may be changed or revoked at any time by authorized church leadership.
