Youth Ministry

Growing together.

Whoever you are, wherever you're from, you are welcome here.

Our youth program is centered around a teen's understanding and growth in Jesus Christ. We understand the growing pains teens sometimes go through in figuring out life. At a teen's age, they are starting to take steps toward adulthood and at times it can be complicated. We desire to establish a safe place where they can build a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ as they continue their growth through life.

We Care for Your Child as If They Were Our Own

At Twin Valley Alliance Church, the safety and well-being of your children are our highest priorities. Every volunteer completes comprehensive background checks, including State Police and Child Abuse Clearance through Childline, in full accordance with Pennsylvania childcare regulations. Our policies are thoughtfully designed to ensure that each child is safe, well cared for, and nurtured in a loving, supportive environment

Sunday mornings for teens

Sunday School
Sunday mornings at Twin Valley Alliance Church are designed to help teens connect, grow, and feel a true sense of belonging. We begin each Sunday with breakfast from 8:20–9:00 a.m., providing a relaxed and welcoming space where teens can build friendships and start the morning together.

From 9:00–9:45 a.m., teens participate in Teen Sunday School, where lessons are relevant, practical, and rooted in God’s Word.

Following Sunday School, teens join the congregation for the remainder of the worship service
Men's Bible Study
Older, more mature teens are also invited to participate in our Men’s Bible Study, which meets at the same time and provides an opportunity for deeper discussion and spiritual growth. Many older teens have greatly benefited from attending, enjoying both the meaningful conversations and the mentorship they receive from godly men who bring a lifetime of experience and wisdom

Why Teens Worship in the Main Service
We believe teens are not just the future church — they are the church right now. Worshiping alongside the full congregation fosters spiritual maturity, builds meaningful relationships with adult believers, and helps develop a lasting, personal faith. Participating in the main service allows teens to experience Christ-centered worship, learn from godly role models, and grow as valued members of the Body of Christ rather than simply attending a separate youth program

More Opportunities to Grow Throughout the Week

The Gate Kids Ministry

During the school year, The Gate Ministry meets on Thursdays from 5:30–7:00 p.m. This exciting midweek program provides a fun and engaging environment where students can grow in their relationship with Christ while building friendships and strengthening their faith. Transportation is available. Please note that registration for The Gate Ministry is separate and must be completed on The Gate Ministry page or under Connect in the Twin Valley Alliance Church App.

We encourage all parents to download the app, register an account, and join the appropriate ministry groups to stay informed, connected, and supported throughout the year

Parents who have downloaded and registered an account on our church app can access additional features by clicking on the profile icon. From there, you can explore and join our church groups, including The Gate Kids Ministry groups. These groups provide instant access to our ministry leaders through in-app messaging, allow you to submit prayer requests, receive updates, and stay connected with everything happening throughout the week.

Sunday Evening Youth Group
Our Youth Group provides a welcoming, Christ-centered environment where students in grades 7–12 meet on Sunday Evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Your teen can grow in their faith, build meaningful friendships, and deepen their understanding of God’s Word. Sunday evenings are designed to help teens strengthen their relationship with Christ while connecting with other students in a supportive and encouraging setting. Transportation is available through our Van Ministry.

When completing the Van Ministry registration form, families may select Sunday School and Children’s Church (together), Youth Group, or choose both options at the same time. The form has been designed to make registration simple and convenient, allowing families to enroll in multiple ministries in one place without completing separate forms. Van Ministry registration is also available under Connect in the Twin Valley Alliance Church App.

After downloading the Church App and creating an account, parents and teens can connect directly with our Youth Leaders by joining the Youth Group in the Groups section of the app. This allows families to stay informed, receive updates, and communicate easily throughout the week.

Be sure to enable notifications within the app so you don’t miss important announcements. Simply click on the profile icon and select Youth Group notifications, along with general church notifications, to stay connected. Within the Youth Group, parents and teens can also submit prayer requests and share needs directly with our Youth Leaders and group members.

The Twin Valley Alliance Church App includes many helpful features, such as a built-in Bible, access to messages, ministry updates, event information, and additional tools to help teens and families stay connected and grow in their faith throughout the week
