This week at Twin Valley Alliance Church, we continue our Pictures of the Church series with Loved by the Bridegroom, a message from Pastor Joel McGarvey based on Ephesians 5:22–33.


Paul uses the relationship between a husband and wife to reveal a beautiful picture of Jesus and His church.

Christ loves His bride sacrificially—giving Himself for her, cleansing her, and caring for her. His love reaches beyond simply welcoming us; He is making us holy and drawing us into a deeper relationship with Him.


Together, we’ll explore what this picture teaches us about Christ’s faithful love, our identity as His church, and how we respond to Him through faith, love, and obedience.
