Choosing Obedience When It Hurts

In Matthew 1:18–25, we step into Joseph’s side of the Christmas story—a story marked not by celebration, but by confusion, risk, and pain. Joseph is faced with a decision that could cost him his reputation, his relationships, and his future. Yet in the middle of uncertainty, he chooses obedience.
This message reminds us that obedience to God is not always easy or comfortable, but it can make an eternal difference. We’ll also reflect on the deeper truth that Christmas itself came at a cost—not just to Joseph, but to God—who gave His Son so that the world could be saved.
