The Youth Group Ministry of Twin Valley Alliance Church now gathers at the church on Tuesday nights at 7:00 pm instead of Sunday evenings during the school year. The evening begins with worship upstairs, followed by a game called "Four On the Couch." It's a fun strategic memory game suitable for medium to large groups, great for teenagers to adults. The goal is to get four teammates on a couch or marked chairs. The game requires one piece of paper and a pen for each participant, along with a bag to collect the papers. To play the game, everyone is split into two equal teams and sits in a circle with one empty seat. Each participant sits next to an opponent on both sides, including the four people on the "couch." Each person writes their name on a piece of paper, which is then placed in the bag. The bag is passed around, and each person draws a piece of paper with someone else's name on it. They keep the name on their paper secret. The objective is for a team to get four of their members on the couch. The person on the right of the empty chair calls out a game participant's name, and that person sits in the empty chair. The person to the right of the new empty chair then calls out another name. This pattern continues until one team has four members on the couch, declaring them the winners. After the game, the youth group enjoys some pizza and concludes the evening with a Bible study focused on prayer. They explore how to pray and why it is important.
