Friend of God: Decisions God’s Way

This week, we return to our sermon series, Friend of God: Learning Faith from Abraham, as we look at Genesis 24 and the story of Abraham finding a wife for Isaac.

At first glance, this may seem like a simple family story, but Genesis 24 gives us a beautiful picture of God’s guidance, wisdom, and faithfulness. Abraham’s servant is given an important task, and instead of depending on his own understanding, he seeks the Lord, prays for direction, watches for God’s provision, and moves forward in faith.

We all face decisions in life — some small, some life-changing. The question is not just what decision we make, but whether we are seeking to make that decision God’s way.
