This Sunday at Twin Valley Alliance Church, we continue our study in Genesis 15 as we look deeper at the covenant God made with Abraham and what it means for us today.

Last week, we saw Abraham anchored in the promise.

This week, we see that God’s covenant was not based on Abraham’s performance, works, or ability—but on God’s faithfulness and what God Himself promised to do.

Abraham believed, and that faith was counted as righteousness.

What a reminder for us.

In a world that tells us to strive harder, prove ourselves, and earn our worth, God’s Word points us back to grace. His covenant with Abraham points forward to the Gospel and reminds us that our hope is not in what we can do for God, but in what God has done and will do.
